Welcome to My Colorful World: The Story Behind My Designs

From the time I was little, I’ve been fascinated by color, pattern, and beauty. I would spend hours decorating little boxes, drawing leafy prints, or experimenting with crayons, clay, and paints in art class. Even then, creating filled me with peace and joy — and that feeling has never left me.

Over the years, art and design have taken many forms in my life — from sewing my own clothes and designing costumes for my kids to finding joy in paper crafting and creative community. I’ve always been drawn to the way colors and patterns can tell a story or spark emotion. Whether it was the perfect floral, a geometric repeat, or a whimsical print, I loved how design could make something ordinary feel extraordinary.

Surface design became my way of bringing that love to life.
